The problem

Doctors spend a large part of their day writing: consultation notes, prescriptions, certificates, letters. Existing software meant either typing everything by hand or sending patient records to a cloud the practice does not control.

What we built

Complete practice-management software, designed to be used during the consultation:

  • Patient records, scheduling and a waiting-room view.
  • Voice dictation: the doctor speaks, the note is written.
  • Prescriptions and certificates drafted with AI. The doctor validates every document before it is printed.
  • Printing in the practice’s own formats.

Technical choices

Records stay at the practice: a host service runs on one of the practice’s computers and serves the others over the local network. AI features use the internet connection, while patient data stays on the practice’s machines.

The API is built with Django REST Framework and the interface with React and TypeScript, packaged in an Electron desktop client, with Windows installers for host and client machines.

AI is designed as a drafting aid, never as a decision-maker: every proposed text goes through the doctor’s validation. We apply the same principle to the AI features we build for clients.

What it says about how we work

We do not ship a project and move on: we install, train, fix and improve this software every day, with its users. That product mindset is what we bring to client work.
